Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for an Area Sales Manager to sell a wide range of connectors. This company is a world leader in their field with a huge global presence. All applicants must have previous sales experience within defence or aerospace markets and an engineering qualification. Key Account Manager Connector Sales JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager. AREA: South. BASED: Home based. BASIC: £35K - £40K. OTE: £60K plus. BENEFITS: Car, mobile phone, laptop, 5 % pension, private healthcare, life assurance and 25 days holiday. THE ROLE ·Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for an Area Sales Manager to sell a wide range of connectors. ·With a keen focus on the UK OEM markets and aerospace and defence sectors the Key Account Manager will be targeting decision makers from top to bottom. ·The successful candidate will report to UK Sales Manager and be in regular contact with him. ·This role will involve account maintenance, as this is a highly profitable and successful area for the company however half of the Key Account Managers time will be spent generating new business as well. ·The successful candidate will target on a percentage growth in a year and carry a financial target that will be discussed at interview. ·The Key Account Manager will have internal training and product training. ·This role will involve selling to the likes of F!, JCB and Sunseeker. THE COMPANY ·This company is a world leader in their field with a huge global presence. ·Established over 40 years, this company has 288 UK employees and are based in Sussex. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·All applicants must have previous sales experience within defence or aerospace markets and an engineering qualification. ·The ideal candidate will have dealt with OEMs in similar sectors and have provided solutions to clients. ·Experience in connectors or other industrial consumables is desirable for this role. ·Manufactured product knowledge or experience dealing with manufacturers is ideal for this position. ·The successful candidate will have a proven track record in key account management.
