Our client is a well established market leader within the DRAINAGE and RAIN WATER HARVESTING sector. They are one of the most forward thinking DRAINAGE companies in the U.K. They provide RAIN WATER HARVESTING products to institutions that recognize the value of a partner who works diligently and creatively to find the best possible solution for each particular project. They sell through Architects and Specifiers as well as to Main Contractors UK Wide and have a very good reputation within the industry for being consultative, forward thinking and flexible to different business situations. Being at the forefront within the construction industry, this company is looking for a strong AREA SALES MANAGER to join the team.
Key accountabilities will include:
Assess territory potential and realistic market share responsibilities.
You will be in a territory role and will responsible for setting your own budget for the first year so experience with this is a must.
You will be selling RAIN WATER HARVESTING, U.V and Filtration products of many varieties.
You will be responsible for driving sales and developing accounts.
You will have a high level of autonomy and will have to manage own time and appointments.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate will have experience in the RAIN WATER HARVESTING or DRAINAGE market or with an allied DRAINAGE PRODUCT. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess good IT skills, be organised, have a flexible and hands on' approach to work and be able to communicate and represent the company at all levels in a structured fashion. The AREA SALES MANAGER must be able to demonstrate an innovative approach to developing sound profitable business and present convincing financial and business arguments to Customers. You will be able to work autonomously on all levels and will be responsible for your own budget for the first year.
