The Company

The Role
· The position involves developing and maintaining rental customers’ relationships and maximizing the rental of the hire fleet in the Oil and Gas sector.
· Customer base includes Exploration & Production, Drilling contractors, Hook up Com & de-commissioning contractors, Subsea Engineering contractors, Well Engineering, Process and pipeline servicing companies, service providers and fabrication contractors.
· Identify and develop new customers through effective territory management and target planning.
· Manage and undertake rental proposals and quotations to achieve set sales targets.
· Support sales with demonstration, exhibitions and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
· Promote sales by strong price management, and provide technical knowledge and advice to both existing and potential customers.
· Maintain regular contact with all customers especially key accounts.
· Ensure that an excellent standard of after sales service is provided throughout.
· Promote the business nationally, by supporting the Specialty Rental Division, the Rental Manager and other team members in achieving sales.
The Candidate
· Proven experience of selling services or equipment to the industrial/oil and gas market segments is essential
· The ideal candidate will possess a qualification, (ie HNC/ONC) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
· Knowledge of the applications and customer base within the UK oil & gas sector, would be an advantage.
· Proven business analysis skills
· Experience of sales territory management
· You will be self motivated and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
