Job Description

Our client is a worldwide leader within the oil and gas industry. They have an opening for a Project / Sales Engineer to come and join them in Aberdeen at their Tullos site. On offer are an excellent salary of up to £34,000 (depending on experience) and a company car. You will also get all the benefits you would expect when working with a market leader.


Role:

Your role will be to provide a comprehensive support service to the Operations Director in managing projects and developing new business.


Responsibilities:

You will process enquires from customers on sales rental and spare parts

Prepare specifications for equipment

Prepare quotes for approval by operations director

Send quotes and deal with queries arising

Prepare information / drawings to progress orders

Supervise manufacture and test of equipment

Ensure delivery meets customer requirements

Deal with technical, financial, quality and operational queries

Arrange transportation/ shipping/ delivery

Establish and maintain good client/ supplier/ colleague relationships

Seek new business and establish new client relationships

Oversee office operation in absence of operations director


Essential:

Minimum of ONC in mechanical engineering

Mechanical Engineering background

CAD draughting knowledge

Good IT Skills

Must be highly motivated and goal oriented

Confidence and willing to provide informal training to customers


Preferred:

HNC in mechanical Engineering

Offshore Survival Certificate (occasional offshore surveys required)

Marketing skills to help develop new business
