My client is a leading supplier of various types of blowers, ranging from high pressure multi-stage fans to specialist submerged blowers developed for the nuclear industry.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, responsible for the technical review of customer enquiries, machine selection, estimating and preparation of tenders for compression solutions for applications primarily within the petrochemical, utilities and industrial markets. Candidates should be minimum HNC or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline and able to demonstrate at least 5 years post qualification experience

Job description:

Pro Active Sales/Proposals Engineer to join the Blower Sales Team –evaluating enquiries, compiling tenders and development of business opportunities for capital investment machinery within an international market.

Process plant experience and a broad engineering knowledge will be needed to interpret customer enquiries and applications, ultimately providing attractive solutions.

Technical and Commercial innovation coupled with attention to detail and timely tender submissions will all play an important component for success within the position.

Educational requirement:

HNC or Degree – Engineering or equivalent

Practical experience:

5 years minimum in a related engineering organisation

Market knowledge of air movement, aerodynamics and rotating machinery

Sales and Commercial – minimum 2 years

Specific job requirements

Primarily internal position based near Sheffield

Ability to travel Internationally on occasion.
