Our client is a global leader in the production of specialty starches for use across a broad spectrum of industrial and food applications. More than a century of Research & Development and innovation has made them not only one of the largest producers of specialty food and industrial starches, but also an outstanding commercial success.
A unique opportunity has become available to work as a Technical Sales Manager for the UK market in the Industrial Starch division reporting to the European Business Manager.
This challenging role will require you to build and maintain strong customer relationships using direct channels within an existing portfolio of medium and large business accounts. You will also be required to achieve a sustainable growth through developing sales of innovative and differentiated liquid products in line with strategic growth plans in the Papermaking sector.
With a degree or equivalent in a science related discipline, preferably in chemical engineering and strong commercial acumen, you will have a proven experience of selling industrial chemicals and ideally specialist knowledge of the starch industry, although this is not essential. Computer literate, you will also possess strong networking skills and will be willing to travel on a frequent basis.
