Job Description

AREA SALES ENGINEER - WEIGHING EQUIPMENT

30-35k + 12k UNCAPPED OTE + A4 OR 5K CAR ALLOWANCE + MOBILE + LAP TOP + PENSION + HEALTH CARE + LIFE ASSURANCE

Area Sales Engineer required to join a global leading weighing equipment manufacturer to sell into Process Engineering across the North West. This vacancy is open to all technical sales engineers who have sales experience within process engineering market.

THE ROLE

As an area sales engineer you role will be:

1. To cover the North West, North Wales, and West Yorkshire.
2. Selling to End Users within Food, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petro-Chemical, Refineries, Aggregates, Waste and Recycling sectors.
3. Initially you will be focussed on account development, building strong commercial and technical relationships, networking and maximising the revenue potential with each account.
4. Post this, you will then switch your attention to new business. Leads will be generated for the field service and internal sales teams, you will also be expected to be pro active yourself.
5. You will be selling both standard products as well as systems where you will liaise with other manufacturers of process equipment to provide a full turn key solutions for the customer.
6. Looking to achieve double digit growth on patch currently worth £500K.

THE CANDIDATE

The ideal area sales engineer will have the following:

1. A track record in solution sales of capital equipment into process engineering.
2. A passion for business development.
