Project Manager - Hatfield

£45,000 - 50,000 + £5,000 Car allowance

Hugely successful manufacture and supplier of conveyors, cranes and automated solutions looking to recruit a Project Manager with experience from either a food processing site or from an automation background to be the senior point of contact at one of their key sites. The Role
You will be responsible leading the delivery of Projects for automated conveyor and pallet systems. Their will be £10 million worth of tote conveyors going in next year alone to the site. On a typical project you will:

 Manage the timescale and delivery of all conveyor systems for the projects
 Liaise with client to overcome issues such as changing of site layout, major variations to pre-agreed plan
 Solve problems when any projects are falling behind timescales
 You will first receive the project at a handover meeting where the technical specs, timescales and value have been pre defined.
 You will need to manage the relationship with the on site customer so as to get your project delivered so as to not disrupt their normal business activities
 You will be managing four site managers who are checking the day to day installations of the conveyors and quality of the sub contractor work.




The Candidate
To be successful in your application you will need:

 A background in projects within either food processing or automation
 A good knowledge of conveyors
 You will be a great relationship builder
 Have the ability to manage and organise information in a fast paced environment
 You will need to be able to read CAD layout
 You will be confident presenting to directors of businesses
 Good backgrounds include logistics, materials handling, automotive, food process machinery or any systems integrator.



The Company
Are an enormously successful integrator of materials handling systems and have grown significantly in the last four years. They will turnover between £30 and 40 million next year in the UK alone.
