Project Manager required for a manufacturer based in Fareham. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently. The Project Manager will ideally have previous working experience within an electronics or engineering environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for the gathering and collating of planning information for all Projects
Report and control deviations from the plans & schedules
Maintain communications with stakeholders to ensure expectations are managed and a pragmatic schedule expectation is maintained
Budget management, including pre-project estimation and in-project measurement of labour and materials costs, and variance reporting
Ensuring design outputs meet specified requirements, with particular emphasis on quality and value, and ensuring formal customer or marketing acceptance is achieved within agreed timescales
Requirements
The Project Manager must have a track record of delivering technical projects on time, to budget and to the required quality.
NVQ4, HNC, HND or Degree in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering
Project management experience within a SME and Projects where requirements include
environmental challenges such as IP rated enclosures, temperature or vibration
Technical knowledge of computer / electronic components
Understanding of ERP systems and their role in controlling project flow
Package
£30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
