Working with many leading OEMs and end users, our client is renowned for providing innovative solutions with pneumatic/electronic systems and components. To continue their success they are now looking to recruit another Field Sales Engineer / Sales Executive to join their team.
As a Field Sales Engineer / Sales Executive you will be responsible for maintaining and increasing market penetration throughout your territory, through both existing accounts and new prospects.
You'll need to be a self motivated and tenacious individual with an excellent engineering background, who thrives on identifying sales and is able to create long lasting relationships, as your role will involve visiting customers on a daily basis to develop business.
The successful Field Sales Engineer / Sales Executive will be responsible for covering Scotland; therefore the ideal candidate will live in or around the Glasgow area (or will be willing to relocate). You will need a full driving licence and our client provides a company car along with expenses.
To be considered for this position, you must have an OND or above (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline, and good PC skills. Preferably you will also have previous experience within an engineering-based sales role; however our client will provide sales and product training for the right person.
Full training will be provided, some of which will be undertaken in Belgium, Germany or possibly America, therefore you will need a passport. Fluency in French or German would be advantageous, but isn't essential. There will also be at least one sales conference held in Europe or America that you will be required to attend as part of your duties.
