Panel Wireman - Glasgow - Contract: £13.70 per hr + Over time (Time and a half) up to 84 hrs
Skilled Panel Wireman required to assemble and wire complex control panels and electrical switchgear for industrial applications. A world leading manufacturer of Switchgear, Drives and Control Panels is looking for 20 Control Panel Wireman for a three month rolling contract based out of their workshop in Glasgow.
The Role:
Assemble and wire electrical switchgear and control panels in accordance with layout drawings and schematic diagrams.
Install or modify electrical switchgear and control panels on site.
The Person:
Must be a time served Panel Wireman.
May have a recognised Apprenticeship (i.e. City & Guilds or equivalent)
Must be experienced in wiring control panels.
May have experience wiring electrical switchgear.
Must have the ability to read and understand layout and schematic drawings.
May have the ability to understand Bills of Material (BOMs).
Must be self motivated with the ability to work as a team member.
May be willing to work extended hours.
