Company
My client is part of an International Swiss Group who are privately owned with approximately 35 employees in the UK. Due to continued expansion, the company has recently relocated to larger, more prestigious offices and as a result has the following 2 sales vacancies.
Role
This is a solution sales role that will require a high level of technical input. Your role will be to sell bespoke connectors that can withstand the toughest environmental conditions. The products are used to connect high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, fluids and electrics in a wide variety of industries from nuclear to rail to F1. Target customers are largely End Users as well as some OEM's. The sales territories are currently performing well, and there is massive potential to really grow the business.
Person
A technical qualification in an engineering capacity is an absolute must. You should have experience of selling a technically complex component to an End User or OEM. Ideally you will have mechanical, fluid dynamics or metallurgical applications experience with experience of working with an R and D department to provide a complex solution. You must be dynamic and have the ability to solve problems in an industrial/manufacturing environment. A good understanding of sales planning techniques is also a prerequisite.
