SALES ENGINEER (TRAINEE/PROJECT SALES ENGINEER)
£25-30K + 5-6K OTE + VW Golf + Mobile + Laptop + Pension + Life Assurance + 23 Days Holiday
THE COMPANY
For 25 years, this Global 60million company has built a reputation for innovation within the sensors and vision systems industry. One fifth of their 500-strong workforce is devoted to research and development to allow them to continue to be at the forefront of technology. Strong performance in 2008 has provided the UK with the strong foundation to double their turnover over the next 3 years. Therefore they need to add a dedicated Sales Engineer to their sales team.
THE ROLE
This Sales Engineer will be home based and required to run the Midlands and North Wales area autonomously. The role will require them to liaise with machine builders within the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, packaging and other automation industries in order to fully specify the right solution to their application. They will also need to liaise with end users such as Weetabix and GlaxoSmithKline to maximise account opportunities and sell on a project basis. You will need to demonstrate the equipment and arrange trials once the solution has been agreed.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal Sales Engineer must have:
- An electronic engineering background with experience or a qualification
- Experience in either Field Sales, Internal Sales, Applications, Product or Project engineering
- A good relationship builder
- Keen to learn
All applicants must hold either a UK passport or an HSMP visa.
