My Client a National Electrical Wholesaler/ Distributor requires a capable and dynamic Sales Engineer and offer the following:
Basic Salary: £ Total package will be depending upon experience
Bonus Scheme: Bonus based on sales revenue, profit achievement for the branch. Full details to be advised at interview stage.
Benefits: Car, Contributory Pension, Mobile Phone, Expenses.
Principle Responsibilities: To increase sales and profitability with the branches current customer base and develop new business within the geographic area.
Liaising with suppliers to ensure relationships maintained.
Joint targeting of relevant customers.
Preparing quotations, follow up and conversion to order.
Ensuring service levels are maintained.
Stand in for manager when absent.
Prepare business plan to work towards goals and branch objectives.
You will have full access to major brand names within the industry. Capable of supplying industrial, contractor, installation, MRO, and PPE components and products to the Electrical sector, you will actively target Maintenance / End users, OEM's, Panel Builders, LA's and Contractors.
You will hold full responsibility for the customer development within your designated area.
Ideal Candidate: Ideally you will have knowledge of a wide range of electrical market related products and are likely to have a strength in one or more product areas. This could be industrial and installation products, control gear, switchgear, automation equipment, variable speed drives, plc, hmi, cable management systems, enclosures, sensors, etc. With a recent background as either Field Sales Engineer, Area Sales Manager or Sales Representative or branch external or internal sales at an electrical wholesaler/distributor or manufacturer. You will have the drive and personality to create new business and manage the existing customer portfolio. You will have excellent communication at all levels and a real focus on providing a first class service to your customers.
An electrical qualification is likely, but not essential, but an understanding of the products and market place is.
