My client is one of the UK's market leaders in Mechanical Process Engineering solutions sold directly to the Oil & Gas, Water / Environment and Food & Beverage sectors.

You will either have a minimum 1 years engineering work experience or some form of sales / customer facing work experience and looking to forge a successful career in Technical Sales Engineering"
Over the past five years the UK business has organically grown by £4 million and looking to grow by a further £3 million. As a result of this growth, they now have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Graduate Sales Engineer - Mechanical Process Engineering to support the vast amount on new projects being secured.
THE ROLE
1. 100% office based however, during your training a large proportion of your time will be spent on site learning about the products and how they work.
2. 90% of the Graduate Sales Engineer's time will be reacting to incoming enquiries. The field sales team would initially generate a lead, once the enquiry comes in by phone, fax or email it will be passed on to the Graduate Sales Engineer to process.
Your role will require:
1. Reading, understanding and working to specifications
2. Quoting and order processing
3. Cross selling and up selling additional services
4. Direct customer contact
5. Project Management - seeing the projects through to installation along with offering after sales and services
6. Trouble shooting and technical support
CANDIATE
1. Be either a Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical graduate with 1 years engineering work experience or a hands on engineer in the process industry
2. My client will consider graduates with a minimum 1 years sales experience or some form of customer facing background
3. Be willing to learn and ambitious with a desire to do a technical sales role
4. Posses a high degree of written and verbal communication skills
5. Posses an ambitious approach and a desire to progress.
6. You must be willing to relocate to the South West of England
Based: Office based (Somerset / Dorset)
Salary: up to £28K basic (depending on experience) + £3K bonus + Pension + Life Assurance
