Design Engineer

Cumbria

Basic Salary - £30,000-£34,000 per annum

ESTABLISHED MANUFACTURER: of pumps with a worldwide reputation within heavy plant, rail and marine industries; this client is experiencing healthy growth and therefore needs to increase the design team in order to deal with the extra workload. The company offer long term career prospects for the successful candidates as they have a very long standing, happy work force.

THE ROLE: You will be responsible for the whole design process from conception to production. The role involves liaising with global customers face to face, therefore travelling overseas several times per year.

THE CANDIDATE: - will have a background in a similar role in fluid or air movement products or will have a Mechanical Engineering Qualification and will join at a more junior level and will be trained.

THE PACKAGE:

• Basic Salary: Up to £30,000-£34,000 plus bonus
• Benefits: 26 days holiday plus statutory, 3 x DIS, Contributory Pension up to 10%
