Sales Engineer - Power Transmission

A tenacious Power Transmission Sales Engineer is required to join a company who has organically grown their UK business by £4.8 million within 4 years.

This vacancy is open to Sales Engineers who have sold some form Power Transmission products such as, Pumps, Gears, Motors, Drives, Bearings, Belts and any other product which requires Speed or Torque. It is essential you have a full UK driving licence and Sales Engineers with either a Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering Qualification will have a distinct advantage.

This tremendous growth has been achieved by the company improving and strengthening their procedures, and by becoming more efficient and effective with their clients. They now have exciting plans to organically grow their business by a further £4 million by 2015.

"Interview dates for this role will be Thursday 26th January and Tuesday 31st January at 9am, 12pm and 3pm.


THE ROLE

1. Home based you will be reporting directly to the MD, 100% New Business with 40% of your time spent managing existing accounts (£400,000) and growing these accounts further.
2. The other 60% will be spent generating and targeting fresh new clients
3. Generating your own leads as well as responding to incoming enquiries
4. Site surveys, working and understanding customer specifications
5. Power, Torque & Speed calculations will form an integral part of this role so it is vital you have the ability to calculate different speeds
6. Producing quotations, maximizing all account potentials
7. Covering a territory including North Yorkshire, Durham, Middleborough, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland right up to the Scottish boarders

THE CANDIDATE

1. A proven sales background in Power Transmission products such as, Bearings, Gears, Motors, Inverters, Servo Systems and Pumps or a solution which has motor apart of it
2. A sound Engineering background ideally a minimum HNC / HND in Mechanical, Electrical OR Electronic Engineering
3. Ability to calculate Power, Speed and Torques
4. FullUKdriving licence
5. Tenacious, hungry, self motivated with the ability to build strong relationships

SALARY
Up to £35,000 basic (based on experience) + up to £7,500 bonus + Car + Phone + Laptop + Pension + 25 days holiday + Life Assurance

TERRITORY
North Yorkshire, Durham, Middleborough, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland right up to the Scottish boarders
