Business Development Manager - £35k Basic + Uncapped Commission OTE £60k + Benefits including: 25 days paid holiday, company pension scheme and private health insurance.

About the Company

With offices throughout the world our client is a world leader within the business information sector and provides research and consultancy based services to a range of clients across vertical markets. They have been established for a number of years and are retained by most of the FTSE 100.

About the role of Business Development Manager

Due to growth, we are now looking to recruit for Business Development Manager to be based in the London office. You will be focusing your attention on the electronics market and will be responsible for selling research, analysis, reports (single copy and subscription based) and consultancy based services into senior level decision makers within supply chain and procurement.

The business information provided is a must have for companies involved within the electronics and technology markets as they will receive market research which is reliable, rigorous and relevant.

You will play a key part in winning new business selling reports (worth between £5k - £7k) or selling big ticket consultancy based services or annual licenses for market intelligence (worth in excess of £60k). Part of the role will involve face-to-face meetings with clients to deliver sales presentations in order to close business across EMEA.

Candidate Requirements

·       Minimum of 3 years new business sales experience selling syndicated research (advisory subscription) services ideally in the electronics sector

·       Proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal sales objectives
