Our client is a leading international manufacturer of Mechanical Seals, gaskets and associated products. The key sectors they sell into are Power Generation, Oil & Gas and the Petrochemical industry. As an organisation they employ in excess of 100 people in the UK and they have a turnover that is currently surpassing £40 Million. The key reason for this companies sustainable success is their product portfolio and absolute dedication to R&D.
The Brief
Having achieved strong progress globally in the last 3 years, this organisation is now looking to further penetrate and develop new opportunities in both the UK and internationally. They are specifically targeting the Petrochemical sector and are looking to forge strong relationships within the Oil refineries. As a company they expect to do this by recruiting the highest calibre Account Manager with knowledge and experience of selling maintenance solutions into the major refineries.
Prospective Candidate
This organisation is seeking a Sales Manager with at least 5 years Engineering/Process industries sales experience and a strong technical background.
· You will possess a technical degree
· You will have an understanding of selling into one of the following sectors (Oil & Gas, Power Generation and Petrochemical)
· Ideally you will have worked within the Seals/Gaskets or Process industry
· The successful individual must be highly strategic and well versed in winning contracts and tenders
· You must also possess strong business development attributes
· Experience of working within oil refineries would be ideal
