The Company
This US owned British subsidiary have seen considerable growth in recent years and are looking to capitalise on their increasing diversity. As a manufacturer of Industrial controls and instrumentation equipment they are continuing to expand their international operations by increasing their distribution network. With a industry renowned name, associated with quality and performance, they are focussed on expanding their market presence into new territories and markets.
The Role
As European Sales Manager you will be responsible for managing the companies existing distribution and sales agent network across Northern and Central Europe. The European Sales Manager will also be expected to formulate and initiate the strategy for maintaining current business and releasing new products to the market. The European Sales Manager will take accountability for key accounts on territory ensuring high profitability across the region. The European Sales Manager will take the challenge of developing, training and appraising the sales engineers on territory optimising the distributor's performance.
The Person
The European Sales Manager will be a skilled sales person with strong Electrical or Electronic qualifications. The candidate will be eager to progress their career after being successful in this role. As European Sales Manager you will be a fluent English Speaker and an EU citizen. The abilities to deal with your own P&L, motivate and inspire a team and deliver quality sales will be integral to the European Sales Manager.
The Reward
The European Sales Manager will receive targeted product training and will receive on-going development. The opportunity to progress into a variety of roles across the large parent group, with strong performance, should be a realistic opportunity within 2-3 years.
