THE ROLE
A Sales & Marketing Manager position has arisen with a World Leader in the development of electronics and telecommunications software and hardware for military applications within the land vehicle market based in the Midlands. This Sales & Marketing Management role, covering a sales territory of the United Kingdom and Europe, will involve visiting existing and targeted clients, manage key accounts to maximise revenue and as part of a team, formulate a five year sales forecast in accordance to the companys long term strategy. Reporting directly to the Business Development Director, you are fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the sales area.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
In-depth knowledge of military vehicle electronic systems and vehicle programmes
Proven technical sales record within the military environment and knowledge of MoD procurement structure (DEC, DPA, DLO etc)
Able to conduct professional commercial and technical presentations at senior levels within the customers organisation
Able to manage the creation of technical and commercial bid proposals within the business
Able to successfully negotiate all aspects of a proposal through to contract award and to manage multiple sales opportunities of varying complexity
Energetic approach, willing to think big and target major system opportunities
Degree or HNC in an engineering discipline preferred
THE PACKAGE
Basic Salary: £40,000-£60,000 basic (dependent upon experience)
Commission: 20% maximum bonus based on targeted sales
