Business Development Manager / Sales Executive required for leading independent distributor. Candidates must have good new business sales experience and the ability to sell fairly technical components. Experience is preferred over someone junior.
The role:
Calling on OEM's and contractors the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business within the UK's vast and high-tech manufacturing sectors.
Account Management & new business generation
Visiting clients to deliver product presentations
Proactively offer specific product devices from inventory, excess, and vendor availability base.
Develop brand new customers by cold calling and making appointments to visit
Processes internal sales orders and obtains written/verbal confirmations of customer purchase orders
Requirements:
The Business Development Manager will have a proven track record in new business development
Educated ideally to degree level
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures.
This role would ideally suit someone with a technical or electronic components background

£30-35K P/A + commission
