An independent publisher, our client designs and delivers educational content for use on interactive whiteoards and projectors in the classroom.
Interactive whiteboards allow users to use a large board as an interactive computer screen. Selling pre-school, primary and secondary school products, the sales team is split into three sector focused groups.
The field sales team sells only into the secondary school market and Local Education Authorities (LEAs) within a given geographical territory. These sectors offer the biggest opportunity and require people who have a lot of knowledge about the industry, the marketplace and the product, as well as a very adaptable, assertive and professional approach.
The field role will involve some travel outside of the UK in the past year, our client has moved into the international market, selling into Dubai and parts of South America and has tangible plans for growth into other parts of the world. Training is in depth, but not rigidly structured you will benefit from mentoring from experienced colleagues and lots of product training but you will also need to shout when you need help.
Having gained the knowledge, skills and confidence to sell into what is a very complex and consultative market opportunities to develop witin the business will present themselves to you - our client wants to develop and retain good people.
