Sales Coordinator / Inbound Sales Advisor / Inbound Customer Service Advisor / Account Coordinator (Sales Department)

37.75 hours per week

Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire

Salary Circa £17,000 dependant on skills

  

Developer of the spiral wound gasket in 1912 in the US, our client has built on this legacy of innovation with revolutionary product materials such as Thermiculite® and Sigma®. They have a global customer service network of owned manufacturing facilities, manufacturing licensees and distribution network, with over 750 distributors in 30 countries.

They have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator to be involved with the maintenance of all existing accounts and to sustain regular contact with customers.

Continuing to develop the portfolio of products you will also answer customer queries and develop SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, timed) working practices to handle queries more efficiently.

Providing technical advice on their product range you will ensure that specific customer applications demands are met. Other responsibilities include entering orders on the QAD system and providing quotes in an effective and timely manner. Liasing internally with production you will also monitor progress of orders and deal with any customer complaints.

The successful candidate will have strong literacy and numerate skills along with the ability to solve problems. You will be qualified at grade C or above at GSCE level or equivalent in Maths and English and will come from an inbound sales or inbound customer service background. Excellent communication skills are essential along with a confident telephone manner; you will also have exceptional IT abilities in Word, Excel, Outlook and Data Entry. In additional if you are educated to an A Level standard or above this would be advantageous.
