This well known not for profit organisation operating within the FMCG industry is currently seeking a Head of Sales to manage relationships with key suppliers and out of home customers.
As Head of Sales you will be responsible for the leadership of a team of Account Managers that manage relationships with key suppliers, foodservice and contract catering customers.
Key areas of responsibility are as follows:
Develop and deliver the strategic plan for the brand and out of home accounts team, ensuring it fits with the strategic development of the business.
Manage and develop trading relationships with exisiting and potential out of home customers primarly focused within food and drinks - to maximise volume growth opportunities.
Lead, inspire and coach the account team in order to deliver set objectives and goals.
Develop Joint Business Plans (JBP's) in order to work collaboratively with key customers and gain a depth of commitment from your retail customers.
Contribute to the overall commercial strategic plan.
Influence and champion cohesive commercial strategies and plans to drive category growth.
In order to be successful in your application you must have the following experience:
Previous foodservice account management skills.
Previous branded FMCG experience.
Proven ability to think strategically and set strategic targets.
Excellent leadership skills gained in highly complex and high pressured environments.
High level negotiation and trading experience.
