Hotel Front Manager / Reception Manager required for a 200 + bedroom , Internationally Branded Airport Hotel, based at London Gatwick Airport , West Sussex. .

Package: Basic Salary of between £20 k and £24k dependent on experience + bonus ( 15%) + company benefits

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER / RECEPTION MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION ;
To manage the functional areas of reception, night audit and guest relations to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are achieved, whilst maintaining an efficient system for room allocation, check-in, check out and audit.
Primary Responsibilities
· To ensure that sufficient trained staff are available to meet the business requirements of the different functional areas and that they are encouraged and motivated to provide a superior level of customer satisfaction
· To ensure that staff are fully conversant with the operation of the Front Office system, Opera, have appropriate product knowledge and are able to carry out their specific responsibilities effectively, by identifying training requirements, planning and actioning development activities monitoring subsequently performance and evaluating against objectives
· To promote effective communication within the different functional areas and ensure that staff have received adequate training to allow them to assist in other areas of the Front Office, as required
· To encourage and motivate staff to maximise upselling opportunities in order to maximise profit
· To liaise regularly with the Revenue Manager regarding room allocations, VIP's, special requests
· To be aware of competitors facilities and rates and report on any information that is relevant to the improvement of guest service and/or the achievement of an increase in room yield
Guest Relations
To manage the guest relations function and achieve superior levels of guest satisfaction by ensuring that staff are encouraged and motivated to acknowledge and meet set criteria .
Skills required:
*Proven track record in Hotel Front Office / Reservations / Reception / Duty Management within the corporate Hotel Brand market.
*Previous guest service / hotel experience with experience in a supervisory capacity
*Business and Commercial awareness.
*Drive , determination and enthusiasm.
*Organized
*Customer Service Oriented.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Good team player
*Good Computer skills.
