As part of the highly successful sales function in Hull, Arco are looking to recruit a Telephone Account Manager to proactively develop profitable relationships with existing customers and also seek new business opportunities within a set geographical area.  As a Telephone Account Manager, you will be required to execute a sensible call cycle plan to ensure all customers receive contact throughout the month to promote and sell any number of specific products from Arco's vast catalogue, ranging from hard hats to specialist factory equipment. Along with exemplary relationship development skills, you will be able to produce quotations, handle complex queries and will be able to negotiate effectively keeping profit margins in line with team targets. Reporting to the Telephone Development Manager, you will be making approximately 30-40 outbound calls per day whilst simultaneously managing email enquiries and customer service issues.

To be successful in the role of Telephone Account Manager, you must be extremely confident in your influencing abilities as you will have worked in a similar telesales environment before. Any experience within a health and safety equipment arena would be highly advantageous however full training and a structured induction is offered to the successful candidate. This role sees the opportunity to also meet with clients on a face to face basis with the long-term incentive to become a Field Based Account Manager. The basic salary for this role is incentivised on a quarterly basis giving you the opportunity to earn significant bonus, not only through Arco but through specific vendors who offer bonus on sales of their products during certain times of the year.
