Salary £22k - £25k plus commission, OTE £28k - £35k.
The Role of Account Manager
The role of Account Manager involves selling a vast range of tools, fasteners, ppe and industrial consumables into the manufacturing, maintenance, repair and engineering end user sector.
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing existing accounts within the territory.
Developing the customer base and increasing sales through identifying new business opportunities.
You will spend your time face to face with your customers requiring the majority of your time on the road.
The Candidate
The Account Manager position requires someone who is self motivated, pro-active and driven and who possesses an understanding of the sales environment.
They must have a positive, 'can do' attitude and be eager to succeed.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers at all levels.
You must possess a current driving licence.
The ideal candidate will be results orientated and demonstrate high energy, drive, ambition and development potential.
A sales orientated background in engineering, or industrial supplies would be a distinct advantage.
