Business Development Manager - Lifting & Load Restraints

THE ROLE:
An immediate requirement has arisen for a proven Business Development Manager to work for a globally recognised group of companies within the lifting and load restraint industry. This Senior Field Sales role will involve selling the company's full product portfolio sustainable across various lifting applications, products include specialist slings, web slings, load restraints and cargo nets. Selling across a diverse route to market this New Business Sales role will involve selling to plant and tool hire companies, main contractors, specialist distributors and various end users throughout a UK sales territory. This Business Development Manager role will require that your sales, new business and account management capabilities are first class, reporting directly to the UK Sales Manager, you are fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the sales area.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
*Proven sales experience from within a related lifting equipment / load restraint / materials handling sector.
*Must have up to date industry knowledge and contacts having sold via mentioned routes to market.
*Autonomous sales professional.
*Self sufficient.
*Strong self starter.
*Proven ability to penetrate new markets and launch new product ranges.
*New business hunter.
*Key account management.
*Long term relationship developer.
*Strategic networker.
*Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
*Diligent / keen attention to detail.
THE PACKAGE:
Basic Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Commission: Excellent 1st Year Anticipated OTE!!!
