Sales Executive - Construction Products, South Coast

  

£30k - £42k plus company car, Bupa, life insurance generous pension, mobile, excellent career progression opportunities

The Role

  

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Sales Executive to sell a wide range of high quality products to strengthen this company's market leadership position within the construction industry.

As Sales Executive, you will report to the Regional Sales Manager and will have responsibility for

  • Managing nominated merchant and distributor customers in a geographical area, requiring the majority of your time on the road, proactively servicing their business needs.
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities from existing customer base.
  • Maximise business development opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • You will have demonstrated your abilities in developing strong customer relationships and will be driven by the desire to achieve business growth in a competitive market.

The Candidate

  

  • The successful candidate will be self motivated and goal orientated and possess the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate resilience, stay in a positive frame of mind, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and above all be sales driven.
  • You will possess experience within a construction sales environment, or maybe even a trade background.
  • Ideally having experience selling to merchants/distributors.
  • Product experience sector power tools, fixings and fastenings.
