The Role
As Sales Engineer for the South East you will be responsible for both new business and account management. Selling the company's full product range you will be involved at all stages of the process dealing with Architect's, Consultants, Contractors and Merchants and Wholesalers. The Sales Engineer will de involved at design stage ensuring that all the clients Lighting and Ventilation needs are meet. The Sales Engineer will need to be consultative to deal at the technical end of the sales but also be able to manage commercial wholesalers.
The Person
The Sales Engineer will be a strong sales person with at least 3 years sales experience. You will be a technical person with experience selling in the construction industry. The Sales Engineer will have to be an adaptable person who can quickly learn the company's Ventilation and Lighting products. The Sales Engineer will need to have either electrical or mechanical qualifications or equivalent to HNC level. Good relationship building skills and a consultative nature are a must for this Sales Engineer to be successful.
