Area Sales Manager (Field Sales, Business Development, B2B)

Preston, Lancashire

Basic Salary £25,000 OTE £50,000 plus company car and benefits

Our client is the largest independent drainage specialist in the UK, with a network of depots right across the UK.

An opportunity now exists for an Area Sales Manager to join their North West division in Preston to service the requirements of the existing customer base, develop and sustain new business clients and promote the sale of all of the company's services.

Our client is looking for a commercially minded individual who can source new business to promote the growth of the company while ensuring that existing clients continue to benefit from their excellent service range.  This is a varied role and will require site visits, cold calling and B2B interface.

Working closely with the division's Operations team and existing sales team, you will assist in achieving (and exceeding) the division's budget sales line by working closely with client to ensure that they provide the best possible solutions to customers' drainage problems.

For this position excellent field sales and customer service skills are essential, a background in the Drainage, Construction, Civil Engineering, Waste or Utilities industries will stand you in good stead. Experience in the service or reactive maintenance industry is essential for this position coupled with a UK driving licence.  Our client is looking for a proactive and committed individual who is looking to progress their career with a forward thinking company who really values it's people.
