SALES ENGINEER RAIL / CIVIL ENGINEERING - London & S East Salary: £24 - £40k + package, + benefits + mobile+ lap top + company car The Company A leading manufacturer and supplier of construction related products seek to appoint a specialist Sales Engineer. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Professional / Account Manager to develop sales and manage existing accounts with the leading players within the Civils Construction market The Role This is a field based, sales engineer role where the understanding of your customers business and their applications is paramount and the promotion of your products for providing solutions and adding extra value is essential to your success. Sales to the customer may be for products for day to day maintenance or could be for specific infrastructure projects spanning several months of design and consultation. You will be working for a blue chip organisation, recognised for the quality of its products and levels of customer service. The Candidate Experience and knowledge of the main players within the civils market would be ideal, together with selling to or dealing with large contractors and sub-contractors. Civils knowledge, or engineering work experience of large infrastructure projects. Experience and knowledge of the rail industry, in particular selling to or dealing with rail contracts, contractors and sub-contractors. Knowledge of, or engineering work experience in the sectors of permanent way, track renewals, track maintenance, signals, mechanical and electrical installation and station refurbishment would be ideal. The successful candidate may possess an engineering degree or equivalent, alternatively you will be able to show rail experience or sales experience within this environment.
