Job Description

• Area Sales Manager - Window and Door components

• London inside M25, Essex and Kent
• £27-35k depending on experience, OTE £6-8K, company car at £400 per month Pension, BUPA

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the market leading manufacturer of door and window related components e.g. shootbolts, espags, openers, handles, hinges cylinders, locks and associated door and window furniture.

You will be targeting window and door fabricators 80% or the time and specialist distributors for the remaining 20%. This is a vibrant patch with plenty of existing business on it, although the majority of clients are on the outer edges of the M25 (rather than central London) and in Kent and Essex, so preference will be given to applications from candidates to the Est of London or in Kent/Essex.

Required experience and knowledge

1.    Demonstrable evidence of working with window and door fabricators and associated distributors although will also consider someone who has sold to OEM's selling components rather than a service.

2.    3-5 years plus in a field sales position and located within Essex, Kent and inside M25

3.    IT literate and experienced in Microsoft Office software

4.    Used to working from home

5.    A rounded understanding of sales process

6.    Organisational and communication skills particularly  written and verbal

7.    Excellent commercial awareness

8.    Able to self-motivate and a mindset to overcome obstacles; able to meet deadlines

9.    Be persistent and effective

10. Full UK driving licence

11. Educated to O level standard including English and Maths
