Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for an Area Sales Manager to sell a manufactured range of construction chemicals. This is a huge chemical company with a multi billion pound turnover. All applicants must have sold either construction chemicals or structural waterproofing. Area Sales Manager Construction Chemicals Sales JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager. AREA: East of the M1 and M23. BASED: On patch, preferably around the Dartford area. BASIC: Circa £35K+. OTE: 20% Bonus. BENEFITS: Car, mobile, laptop, 23 days holiday, matched pension scheme up to 10% and great progression opportunities. THE ROLE ·Committed to ongoing development and success, this company is looking for an Area Sales Manager to sell a manufactured range of construction chemicals used to repair, protect and waterproof concrete. ·Specifications are gained via local authorities and building surveyors. Orders are tracked through to contractors and sometimes also back sold via distributors. ·The Area Sales Manager will be covering an existing patch with established accounts which he or she will manage and nurture. ·The Area Sales Manager will be proactively seeking out new business opportunities on his or her defined territory. THE COMPANY ·This is a huge chemical company with a multi billion pound turnover. ·They have thousands of employees based worldwide, 8 employees in this team. ·Due to its sheer size this company can offer exceptional career progression opportunities. KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED ·All applicants must have sold either construction chemicals or structural waterproofing. ·It is essential that all applicants have specification experience or a consulting engineer / building surveyor that have recent sales experience. ·Experience of selling to Local Authorities would be a huge advantage for this role. ·This company is looking for a salesperson with the ability to successfully plan and run an area. ·The successful applicant must also be able to manage and nurture existing accounts in addition to proactively hunting out new business opportunities.
