Brief job description:  My Client is part of a Large Global group with a firm commitment to advancement, having built a first class reputation for the supply of special steels and alloys to the oil and gas industry worldwide.

  

Continuing growth now calls for the appointment of a Sales Estimator to work closely with the Commercial Team. From their West Lothian plant, you will be a pivotal figure in building quotations specific to the customer's requirements, supporting Sales Executives to grow sales. To be eligible for the position, you will have:

• - Ability to understand technical specifications.
• - Competent computer literacy skills.
• - Attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic.
• - Drive and professional competence.
• - Commercial acumen.
• - Well-developed interpersonal and organisational skills.

This role is predominantly a technical position but within the Sales Team so would ideally suit a candidate with a technical background looking to move their career into a more commercial environment. Familiarity with steel grades and specifications used in the oil and gas industry would be beneficial but not essential.
