Area Sales Manager - Assembly Tools - Manufacturing Industry

Midlands based. Ref:3313

£26-29k base salary, plus 12k bonus, plus car and benefits

· Our client is part of a market leading worldwide organisation, offering the Manufacturing Industry quality assembly tools, solutions and service.
· They are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to capitalise on their significant growth and market share within both Key Accounts and through their distribution network..

The Role

· You will be responsible for the profitable growth, margins and pricing of the brand into the General Industry market sector.
· Reporting to the Business Line Manager Industrial and working with other key personnel you will be required to implement a specific business strategy for this important market sector.
· Working on a direct channel of sale with end user customers, developing existing customers and initialising new customers.
· This role includes the management and development of industrial distribution and the evaluation, organisation and training of distributors
· Management and introduction of new product into the market to ensure new product launch success.
· You will be working with the Projects and Service Department to develop the industrial service and projects business
· A key part of this role is formulating business plans and marketing campaigns for key industrial distributors and end users

The Candidate

· Must have Key Account Management experience along with solution selling experience and demonstrated influencing skills.
· Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
· It would also be an advantage to have a production engineering / manufacturing background
· The role requires someone with a very flexible approach to work and excellent organisation skills
· The successful candidate will ideally have extensive experience in industrial pneumatic/electric tool sales and a good business acumen.
