£25-28k base salary, 10k - 13k uncapped earnings, plus car, pension, health scheme and assoc benefits
The Company
Our client is part of a market leading worldwide organisation, offering the Manufacturing Industry quality assembly tools, solutions and service.
They are looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to capitalise on their significant growth and market share within their distribution network.
The Role
This role includes the management and development of industrial distribution and the evaluation, organisation and training of distributors.
Developing existing and new channels of distribution for the ranges of pneumatic and electric tooling products into the Automotive, Aftermarket, Aerospace, Petrochem, MRO and General Industry segments.
Management and introduction of new product into the market to ensure new product launch success.
A key part of this role is formulating and implementing business plans and marketing and promotional campaigns for key industrial distributors.
Develop existing and new Key Accounts, and distribution structure focused on specific product portfolio.
Building an effective business relationship with distribution and customers at all levels, supporting through workouts, product demonstrations, branch training, merchandising and product launches.
Working with National Distribution branches in your area, manage the sale of all products and influence the sale at branch level.
The Candidate
Must have Account Management experience particularly within distribution channel management.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
The role requires someone with a very flexible approach to work and excellent organisation skills.
Self-motivated and driven to succeed as reflected in the unlimited OTE package on offer.
The successful candidate will ideally have extensive experience in industrial pneumatic/electric tool sales and a good business acumen.
