Key Account Manager – Building Management Systems

JOB TITLE: Key Account Manager – Building Management Systems
BASIC: To £60,00 + Benefits and Bonus

Our client with a turnover of circa £2 billion worldwide is market leaders in the building controls sector. They provide products and services that include Building Management Systems and control systems, industrial refrigeration, fire and security systems, and services for commercial, industrial and residential buildings. Their focus is to increase a building’s energy efficiency and operational performance.

They have a current requirement for a senior account/relationship management professional to take their building management systems project offering to their existing customer base. Dealing at senior levels with large engineering and construction consultancies, main and mechanical and electrical contractors as well as major brand end users you will be responsible for developing our clients name and solution offering. This role is not a product based or a systems sales role, instead you will be selling the concept and technical expertise of our client on a project by project basis. A major aspect of the role will be building strong relationships with key decision makers. Further, you will be able to think strategically, identify opportunities and apply solutions to these. As a major player globally you will be responsible for large scale deals, negotiations and senior level client relationship management

To be considered it is imperative that you have an exceptional track record of success behind you. You many have already worked in similar role for another building controls or building management systems provider/ integrator. Alternatively, you may have sold aligned high value and complex products and solutions into the same client base. What is important is you ability to manage relationships at senior levels, be able to converse with senior engineering and commercial professionals.

Exceptional individuals from M&E, Main Contracting, HVAC, Security or Systems integrator backgrounds will also be considered. You will be able to display end user knowledge, high level specification expertise and once again the ability to converse on technical and often complex solutions.
