Area Sales Manager Roofing
Field/Home Based, Covering Derbyshire, Leicestershire, North Staffordshire, Burton on Trent
Circa £30,000 Plus Car Allowance, Private Healthcare

As a world renowned company, our client is the UKs leading provider of roofing products, profiled sheeting, cladding and boards, to the construction industry. An opportunity has now arisen for an Area Sales Manager to join their team.

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing an established base of key account customers. You will also promote and develop new accounts, focusing on specification sales across private, commercial and public construction sectors.

Covering the East Midlands, you will need the ability to research existing and new markets to identify business opportunities, and the potential for product and process innovation. You will also be required to keep abreast of developments and economic conditions in the construction market, and be able to react and plan accordingly.

To be considered for this role you must have:

- A degree (or equivalent) in a Business or Construction related field
- A background in the building/construction industry
- Sales experience and strong negotiating skills
- Possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to present to small and large groups of people

As an Area Sales Manager, you should also have an analytical approach, an aptitude for learning and a good level of computer literacy. Strong organisational skills and a desire to succeed are also essential.

Additionally, you will have sound business acumen, combined with a structured approach to planning and objective setting. The ability to contribute towards the Company strategy is also key.

Candidates must live within the East Midlands area or be willing to relocate. This role involves extensive travel within the sales area; therefore applicants must also hold a valid UK driving license.
