Job Description

Vision Sales Services is a specialist consultancy helping clients with their recruitment needs.

One of our current clients is one of the worlds leading providers of pensions and investments. They are a multi billion pound, long established company with an excellent brand and reputation.

Based in Birmingham City Centre they are now looking for a Dedicated Account Support person to be the main point of contact for Financial Advisers and supporting all aspects of the sales process. Develop relationships with existing and new advisers over the phone, face to face and through written communication. Provide help, support and advice to advisers and their paraplanners. Identify and invite attendees to workshops and seminars. Produce illustrations for advisers, provide reports and advice to secure sales. Preparing and following up quotes and generally supporting financial advisers and consultants in a sales environment.

You need to have the following:

  • Well established relationship management skills.
  • Strong communication skills - face to face, phone and written.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise in a pressured environment.
  • Financial services exposure, with full awareness of business key channels and potential customer base.
  • Understanding of financial products and systems, how they're administered and the supporting process required.
  • Awareness of competitor propositions and industry news.
  • Good awareness of all technical, regulatory and legislative rules surrounding investment and pensions.
  • Strong experience dealing with customers in a professional, financial services environment, communicating regularly across all channels (including face to face).
  • Strong background in an administrative role using multiple systems, with the ability to prioritising tasks based on customer and company business needs.
  • CF1, CF2 and CF4 as a minimum qualification within 18 months in the role.
  • The expectation to work towards diploma status.

You MUST pass a criminal records and credit check to be offered this role.
