Job Description

Sales Advisor

The nation's largest high street insurance broker, Swinton has over 580 branches across the UK.

We have over 4,000 fantastic people working for us in a variety of roles and locations, each of them helping to keep us highly profitable and running like clockwork. It's their aim and ours to find the best deals from a panel of top insurers for our customers.

You'll be part of a friendly team of branch advisors selling a wide range of insurance products from leading providers, while maintaining our outstanding levels of customer care.

This will see you offer friendly, informative advice as you explain the options available to our customers and recommend appropriate products which ensure their needs are met, as well as those of our business.

Development is at the heart of all our activities developing our customer offering, and developing the people who deliver it. This means we'll give you all the product and sales training you need to succeed, plus ongoing support and encouragement.

So, while brokerage or call centre experience would be an advantage, a background in insurance is not essential. However, you will need sales or customer service experience, along with lots of initiative.

We'll also be looking for a real head for figures, good keyboard skills and the confidence and ability to convey often quite complex information in a clear and simple way.
