Head of Key Account Management - Employee/Flexible Benefits
Location: South East UK
Basic Salary circa £55,000 + Bonus + Car allowance + Extensive Benefits

The Role
SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Leading the Key account management function, you will have responsibility for a team of 5 KAM's as well as setting up and executing sales and marketing activity plans across your own designated key account portfolio.
You will take overall responsibility for analysing clients' needs, providing products and solutions to help achieve their commercial objectives. To this end participation into the people, process and technology development plans of the business is necessary in order to move the team and the client proposition forward.
You will take responsibility for both the sales process and client engagement techniques of the KAM team, monitoring activity in these areas through:-
- Your own expertise in solution selling
- checking and audit of KAM engagement tools
- forecasting on a regular basis of pipeline activity
- activity 1:1s with KAM team members
- monthly KAM team members
Reporting to the board will organise and chair KAM update meetings, work out budgets, hold goal setting reviews and actively participate in industry wide events, publications, round tables.
The Candidate
You will be an experienced and ambitious senior account manager within the employee/flexible benefits sector.
You will possess the necessary account management/sales training to develop the team and have hands on experience of dealing with complex accounts.
You will either have previous people management experience or see this as the next stage in your career development.
Of professional and corporate appearance you will possess the natural gravitas for a role of this nature within a corporate environment.
