Our client is a leading consultancy that develops and builds bespoke software that can be found powering many of the world's top investment banks. Due to continued demand for their mission critical systems and their ongoing commitment to service existing accounts, they now have an exciting opening for a business development manager to join their successful London based team.
As a business development manager your time will be split between generating revenue streams and up-sell / cross-selling our client's portfolio of services into existing named accounts. This is a strategic account management role that requires you to develop multi level relationships in a defined group of key accounts.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree standard and posses a minimum of 2-3 years sales experience in a business to business environment. You will be on the way up in your career, show stability and be consultative and professional in your approach with high levels of motivation and first class communication and presentation skills. You will be hungry, committed and looking for an excellent opportunity to build a solid career in a company where the earning potential is truly unlimited.
This role requires you to work well in a team driven environment as well as autonomously. It would be advantageous to have prior knowledge of software solutions and/or the investment banking sector but not a necessity as training will be available to intelligent candidates with entrepreneurial flair and the right aptitude.
The successful candidate can expect a base salary of 40k with an uncapped OTE of 80k in the first year plus additional benefits.
