Account Manager (Business Information), Global Media Company

Position: Customer Value Executive
Location: City, London
Salary: Exl Basic + OTE + Benefits

COMPANY:

One of the worlds largest media companies.

ROLE:

The primary role of the Customer Value Executive (CVE) is to retain and grow customer revenue by increasing the value (perceived benefit) clients receive from the products and services.

The CVE will seek to consistently communicate with end users and sponsors, training and demonstrating products and services in a way that resonates with the customer. In doing so, the CVE will identify and feedback any selling opportunities (new, cross-sell, up-sell) or retention risks to the relevant Major Account Manager or Account Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Creatively work with the territory team to retain and grow existing business, with a high degree of independence in managing own time and travel.
b) Develop and maintain a strong ongoing knowledge in products and have a working knowledge of other products within the Enterprise Media Group.
c) Display a thorough understanding of the different customer segments in CTS and be able to articulate clearly to customers and partners.
d) Identify opportunities for increased revenue within the assigned territory and communicate such with the territory team.
e) Build strong, deep, consistent relationships with multiple levels of end users and sponsors within the customer.
f) Ability to arrange, plan, co-ordinate and conduct product training sessions of all sizes.
g) Organize and conduct quarterly account reviews with the territory team at the largest customers.
h) Assist with product roll-outs, enterprise trials (5 or more users), seminars, conferences or any appropriate marketing events.
i) Conduct customer value surveys in order to determine the health of an account and evidence to support territory team(s) with the renewal of existing contracts.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) 2 years similar experience in a media, professional services or blue chip company.
b) Excellent Communicator.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Experience of delivering training to customers on web applications / software.
