Our client has a reputation for providing market leading business management solutions and we are recruiting for a Sales Consultant.
In this role you will be based form home and will be managing the full sales lifecycle from initial appointment generation through to close of sale and post-sale customer satisfaction, the jobholder will be responsible for generating revenue within the existing customer base.
Key responsibilities
To generate appointments through new business calls to prospective customers
To arrange appointments with prospective customers through leads provided
To visit customer sites across the defined territory and effectively demonstrate the range of software on a 1:1 basis and to groups
To demonstrate the range of software to groups of prospects at seminars
Negotiating and closing sales of software range through to cash collection
To ensure post sale customer satisfaction and identify cross and up sale opportunities
To absorb product training and keep abreast of product and legislation changes - identifying sales opportunities to exploit such changes
Maintain a network of Senior contacts within your customer base
To create and execute a sales strategy within agreed customer accounts
To ensure a high standard of conduct, leadership and service as a Sales Professional, in such a way as to result in complete customer satisfaction.
To create and execute account plans and business development strategies. To update and consistently meet the objectives.
Application requirements
Experience of selling accounting/finance software
Strong experience and track record of new business software sales
Experience of successfully generating own appointments
Experience of effectively demonstrating software to prospective customers
Demonstrable experience of managing the full software sales lifecycle through to post sale customer satisfaction and hand over to technical teams
Experience of selling to Customers
Business to Business Sales experience
Accountancy qualification (highly desirable, not essential).
In return you can expect a basic salary of £45K-£50K + £6K car allowance and an OTE of £110K
