Specialising in providing tailored financial advice to those working within the healthcare, dental, teaching and law sectors, our client has carved itself a niche in the very competitive, very fast moving financial marketplace. Working with clients from university through to retirement, our client offers a total solution and expert advice on every aspect of financial security - loans, mortgages, income protection, tax-efficient savings, pensions and a full range of insurance products. To cement the relationship with its clients, successful Financial Consultants offer regular 1-2-1 reviews, ensuring that clients are happy with the service and are making the most of their money.

In January this year ‘The Academy’ was formed. This programme of selection, training and development is a first in the Finance industry, and will set our client head and shoulders above its competitors. By bringing a number of motivated, driven and enthusiastic people into the business, they are bucking the traditional methods of recruiting into the Finance industry (from within) and creating their own team of future superstars.

This 9-month learning and development programme has been designed and delivered in-house. Starting with a 9-week residential course, the programme combines classroom and field training so that you can put what you learn into practice. The course will give you the skills, confidence and ability to become successful and progress within this forward thinking organisation. The CF (Certificate in Finance) training and exams will be included in the course, for those who have not taken them, so that you become fully qualified.

Managing a geographical territory, you will focus on a specific client group (e.g.: Hospital Doctors, GPs, Dentists, Teachers or Lawyers). The role centres around successful relationship building – because of their reputation within the marketplace and the way they do business, our client is able to catch customers early. This means that their clients are very loyal, often from the moment they start their studies towards becoming qualified in their chosen profession.

You will get to know your clients really well and you will become a trusted advisor – depending on your own career progression, you may work with clients throughout their career. As they become more successful, you will be advising them on different methods and strategies for maximising their wealth, and securing their future financial stability.

Ideally you will have experience within the industries of Healthcare, Teaching or Law; however, solid commercial understanding is key.

Basic starting salary: £30K. This will rise to £35k on completion of the training programme with uncapped bonuses, company pension scheme, car, laptop and mobile

Due to great expansion plans, our client is looking to increase their sales force UK wide, therefore you can be based anywhere in the UK.
