Job Description

Account Manager - £45k to £50k Basic + Uncapped Commission. OTE £80k plus Benefits including: 25 days paid holiday, private health insurance and company pension scheme.

About the role of Account Manager

Based in Central London our client is now looking to recruit for an Account Manager to be responsible for managing, retaining and growing an existing portfolio of business worth around £1million. This is very much a client facing sales role where you will be expected to secure business upgrades from around 30 40 UK Corporate Accounts. 

You will be cross selling and upselling a range of solutions including: customized data and research, annual licenses for online databases and consultancy solutions. 

This role reports directly to the Head of Account Management and average deal sizes will vary from £15k up to £150k.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven track record in account management and able to develop new business from within existing accounts
  • Hunter instinct.Must enjoy creating new opportunities (through referrals, email campaigns, cold calls etc.).
  • Business Information Sales experience is essential
  • Effective communicator.Able to explain concepts clearly, concisely and engagingly.
  • Must be able to sell onvalue, not price or product features.
  • Good questioner & listener - intellectually curious.
  • Strong commercial acumen.Able to understand clients business requirements and match solutions to needs.
  • Positive, outgoing personality.
  • Degree educated
