Job Description

My client is a large and well-known financial services business serving a number of large corporate accounts across a wide variety of sectors and industries. Offering a wide range of products and services they are continuously looking to optimise their market position across all of these sectors. A combination of recent, significant growth and a shift to a sharper focus on client service has led to the creation of the new post of Head of Client Management.

The Head of Client Management will play an important and influential role in the organisaton's strategy of driving enhanced business from a smaller selection of high value relationships. The growth that the business has enjoyed in recent years has led to the requirement for a higher quality of Key Account Management, in order to ensure that the largest accounts, whether newly-acquired or long-standing, will receive best-in-class service. This objective clearly dovetails with the organisation's drive to increased top- and bottom-line income.

The ideal candidate will have developed and/or led a strategic Key Accounts/Client Management function in a large business. Candidates from banking, insurance, telephony, FMCG, utilities, law or accountancy will be seriously considered as long as they can demonstrate a track record of growing a business through a structured approach to KAM. Importantly, you must be an excellent leader since the role will see you managing senior managers with client-facing remits. You will interact closely with other heads of function including bids, marketing and new business and will collaborate to acheive business-wide growth objectives.

This new role offers an excellent opportunity for a strong, experienced KAM professional to demonstrate how a business can capitalise on its relationships through a more comprehensive understanding of its clients and their markets. Initiatives such as product development may result from your work as you act as the leader of the team representing clients' interests. Interested candidates should attach an updated CV.
