The Role
Working in an Executive Search firm is challenging, but it can be very rewarding. As a Researcher you will be fully involved in the search process from day one, with market mapping and head hunting being typical daily activities. Once a retained assignment has been won you will profile companies in order to draw up a short list of candidates for interview. You will be screening candidates typically commanding salaries of £200k.
As a new researcher the majority of your time will be spent on the telephone profiling prospective candidates. After proving yourself as a researcher you can then progress into a Consultant role where you are directly involved in winning business and negotiating terms.
The Candidate
In order to be successful in your application, you will need to have a 2:1 degree with 300 UCAS points. You will also need to possess the confidence and tenacity to excel within a target driven environment. Successful candidates will not want to be just another cog in a machine but be the force that moves the business forward. An interest in financial markets is preferred but no recruitment or sales experience is essential as you will receive comprehensive training from proven experts in the market.
